I watched a game a few weeks ago and a goal was scored,then VAR overturned it because of the 3 players that were running into the 18 yard box,one was offside by about half an inch.FFS they drew lines across the box and you could see that one player had his big toe over the line. Admittedly,that was offside.Thats technology for you.

FFS,I am not running down black players.I am just saying that 1 - You have to start somewhere ( usually not at the top ) 2 - I know I am not good enough to play in the Pl BUT maybe if I went to New Zealand or Fiji I would be good enough for their PL, then If I was any good I am sure I would get spottedby a scout and given my chance in a better league.Maybe wouldbe black managers should try this approach ?!

I hate VAR.Its taking all the passion out of the game.Who wants to celebrate a goal 3 minutes after it was scored FFS.You might as well record the game,watch it the next day and when a goal is scored you can fast forward it and celebrate after only 1 minute. If VAR is so good why dont they use it to tell us if that was a goal for England in the world cup final at Wembly ????

Because Gerrard and Lampard were good enough for the PL to start with. DS is a good example.He started with Barnsley, now he is managing a PL team

So,we are going to see the same 11 players on the field every week ?! We were playing a team that was having bad luck and really struggling for a win,FFS if we cant try a few of the reserves in a game like this then when are we going to use them ? or are they just so the bench does not look empty.

What I meant was that if they cant get a managers job in the PL then try lower down.I mean players do it.If I wanted to play in the PL and I wasnt good enough then I would try a club in a lower division.

So we will have specialists rather than jack of all trades on the pitch.

Maybe black managers should start their management careers in League1.If they show that they are good enough I am sure a bigger team will come in for them.What I mean by this is that if they cant get a chance in the PL then if they really want to be managers then they should start lower down.

Yes, it should because over a season I am sure we will score some similar goals.

I like the idear of 5 subs,it makes the game more tactical. With 3 subs,you only really use 2 because teams dont bring the third one on till the game is almost over.

IMHO VAR Should only be used to clear up indecision,confusion or to settle a complaint made by the captain of either team. If no one sees anything wrong ( as in the Arsenal V Villa game ) then VAR should not be used.I mean FFS if no one saw anything wrong with the goal,then surely it should stand.Like the old days with penalties.Sometimes you got them sometimes you didnt but it all evened itself out by the end of the season. The way this looks is that VAR is the only one complaining and holding up the game while its at it,not to mention taking the passon out of a goal being scored.

The way I see it is ( Taking the Arsenal Vs Villa game ) as an example.If the ref cant see anything wrong and if both sets of players accept the goal,then it should be a goal. If it walks like a duck and if it quacks like a duck,then chances are that it is a duck. VAR should only be used if a decision is in doubt and most important.It should not be used unless the ref calls for it.

People that keep correcting the way you pronounce something,FFS dont they know that the whole world is multi-cultral and we all pronounce things our owne way. How boring it would be if we all had the same accent and all spoke exactly the same.

I think so.Everything seems to be for the first time so I think it is the first one in the series. The others are:"Step on a crack" " Ru n for your life" and Worst case" I will definately be getting the other 3 books.

I am half way through my latest book by James Patterson "Tick Tock" There is a new hero,detecive Michal Bennett.I am really enjoying this read and reccommend it .Bennett is a great character.

Yes,I really like him. Have you read any John Grisham books ? they are good as well,all about leagal systems and lawyers but not as dull as they sound.
