    Grealish was good for Villa, in terms of technique up there with the best. However for output, people like David Platt, Gareth Barry and Ashley Young were better. It is a difficult question as everyone has their opinions...

    Not to get too carried away but October and November are decent fixtures for Villa; it is a possibility that we could be top four in December. Many fixtures in December but one or two winnable games also in the PL. We may need reinforcements in January too and this will be helped if Villa are in a favourable position in the PL for any prospective new signings.

    Playing well overall.... So far in his eight games, five assists and one goal. Unlucky not to score a screamer against Chelsea too. In the wars too a bad tackle on his ankle and a bloody nose!

    MOTM for me, those saves were huge!

    MOTM is a tricky one; liked Zaniolo in the first-half particularly. Cash was brilliant too.... Konsa and Kamara were much improved and Luiz was brilliant too. But Emi Martinez pulled off a couple of absolutely brilliant saves when it really mattered, so he gets MOTM for me. Glad we kept a clean sheet and the defence was much improved, still a little suspect with a simple ball over the top. The defensive cohesiveness can be improved upon and this away win is definitely something to build upon. Hopefully Konsa and Torres can form a good understanding together. Important for Watkins to get that goal too, he played very well and was full of defensive and attacking endeavour. Great to see him pointing to the badge after he scored, that was very noticeable. *A word on commentary, Efan Ekoku was very good but the woman he was with was a complete imbecile. Now I'm all for equal opportunity in the MEN'S game but she quite clearly didn't have a f****** clue about football and was very obviously pro-Chelsea. Every word out of her mouth was idiotic. UTV

    Consistency is key... And we have started off this season well, keep it going until Christmas and I think Villa might spend again if necessary.

    Any word or update on his recovery? Buendia has been quite active on social media but has Mings?

    Must admit was never a fan of Tielemans and his interview doesn't really help his cause much as his performances haven't been great. Villa really needed his experience against Legia and he was a complete non-entity which is worrying. He has time to improve and hopefully he can get going with Villa.

    Before the match I thought we should have gone full-strength, we could have rested players later and from a stronger position. The match resembled a cross between basketball and rugby, they roughed us up tonight. Villa wilted.... Kamara and Tielemans are Big culprits tonight, didn't protect the defence. I guess that's why Tielemans isn't starting, he looked slow. Kamara is just out of form or mentally somewhere else? Zaniolo my MOTM, Duràn looked good too.

    EVERYONE involved takes responsibility... Emery picked he team and we looked a shambles, it's called balance. I said as did others we should have played a full strength team to get off to a solid start then we could have rested players later in the group stage. Now we are playing catch up. But the players looked half-a*s*d
