    I agree, it's awful the abuse he gets and of course from many people. But then we have to remember that many football fans aren't particularly bright or intelligent human beings who think it is okay to abuse other people.

    I think Villa will concede in most PL games until the likes of Torres can adapt and Moreno is back playing. Going 3-1 Villa, hopefully we have too much for them. Villa have to continue to be strong at home and try and nick a few wins away from home.

    I think Villa will sign a couple of players (at least) in January to bolster the squad and perhaps more if there are any more injuries. Hopefully Villa are in a good position around December/January which also looks favourable if there is a 'next-level' player that can improve the team. January can also unearth some good players contrary to this incorrect notion that it is a bad time to buy players. For instance; Villa signed Ashley Young, Chelsea signed Matic, Liverpool signed Coutinho, Man Poo signed Fernandes, Liverplop signed Van Dijk, the list is endless...

    It may have been me? I used to live with a professional footballer for eighteen months, they were all at it. I'd said it in the Grealish thread, I'm sure he's a Coke fiend. Women, ecstasy and Coke (lots of it). History has shown some rather high profile players hooked on drugs from alcohol to Cocaine. Even one of the very best In Diego Armando Maradona was hooked for years...

    England performed like a team knowing the manager is about to leave. No urgency whatsoever. Some odd player choices, for instance Gallagher should be nowhere near an England team. A few other players with question marks, Maguire, Phillips should not be under consideration as they aren't playing regularly.

    I think we should play Tielemans and Luiz, Kamara has been poor against The Barcodes and Liverplop. Tielemans deserves his chance. Play Kamara in the Cups.

    Zaniolo looks promising; after a terrible injury hit start to the season many fans are looking for some positives. He certainly has many attributes to succeed at Villa.

    At least it's not a more serious issue, could be worse. Hope Carlos gets better quick, Villa need him.

    I really like Watkins but let us not think he cannot be improved upon. Perhaps he has it in his game to improve himself, we shall see. I have a feeling the next big transfer we make will be in that position. Rumours were that Villa were in for Abrahams, who knows?

    Kamara was good against Everton and Burnley, poor against Barcodes and Plop. Tielemans in next game please. Like Bailey who seems to disappear against better teams or away from home; horses for courses maybe until Kamara finds some form again...

    In retrospect the Manager cannot legislate for s*** decisions... Never noticed at the time but Salah was in an offside position and most definitely interfering with the view of Martinez; if Villa had scored that goal today VAR would have ruled it out. Hence, two minutes in and the game was lost. What can Emery do in that situation, he's powerless.

    I really like Watkins but he's got some flaws. Today he was pretty poor and noticeable how disjointed the link up was with Diaby. It's like he wasn't on the same wavelength a couple of times where Villa had a chance to hurt the Liverplop defence.

    Absolutely. Emery called us weak today, I agree. Villa aren't ready to play too open and invite teams on like we did against Barcodes and Liverplop; need to be more disciplined.

    Freshen things up a little... Kamara was poor today, give Tielemans a start. I'd like to see Zaniolo start also.

    But it's a forum, we ask why? Villa fans can ask questions of the manager and should not be criticised for it. Yes we are miles off Liverplop but yet last season we played the game tactically very well; Villa gave them the game today it was too easy. Supporters are sad, angry, dejected.

    Yeah not sure if McGinn is capable of two games in a week and to be consistent.

    Agreed, too many passengers today... Even if one or two are off Villa cannot compete with Liverplop but three or four and it's a bad defeat. Agreed, could have been five or six today.

    Yes, a couple of games Villa have been naive and allowed other teams to get the upper hand... I agree, some cannot agree with criticism though. Nobody is perfect. Why can't Villa just try and keep it tight instead of going gung ho or letting teams dominate the play? We aren't there yet and this performance shows it, we cannot play like this against the top teams.
