  1. Hopefully the boo boys will cut Bennett some slack after today. Didn't put a foot wrong and made a vital interception in the box. Voted Bacuna MOTM because he was effective both offensively and defensively. Each and everyone played well today, and glad to hear VP rocking again.
  2. Yeah he looks a good player and is usually involved in most of Cardiffs good play. Noone looks good also. Speaking of Cardiff, how about Ben Turner? Purely based on that one game against us. He is a Brummie as well. He's a Bluenose word removed. Was very disrespectful to the club in the post-match. We can do better than Turner. He can rot in the championship along with his beloved SHA.
  3. I never used to dislike Albion, however since many of their fans now have delusions of grandeur, and since they recently released my lad from their academy i now loathe them and will rejoice in their demise.
  4. They have a wages to revenue ratio of 128%. Absolute madness.
  5. Or at least chuck in a couple of free cup tickets as a thank you.
  6. It says: A full overview of the season ticket package - including a complete price grid - will be available here on avfc.co.uk from 9am on Monday Interesting to see where the 'economy' tickets will be. Where you get soaked when it rains!
  7. Spot on. The ignorance at times is staggering.
  8. Yep, with an assist for Bacuna too
  9. Don't be daft - players respond better to criticism........
  10. I disagree. Its important for the fans to get behind the team as well as for the players to get the fans going. Do you just sit there in silence until the players do something? 100% spot on. We need to get behind the team to ensure the players aren't affected by the negativity felt by many. You can argue that the team need to inspire the fans but booing is not going to help.
  11. Got 3 tickets today as I haven't been there for a little while. We're due a win against them.......
  12. I spend most of my time running my lads to various training sessions and matches. In my spare time I run an interiors company.
  13. Agreed. Unfortunately it seems that young players aren't cut any slack nowadays for suffering dips in form by supporters. He will improve so to suggest selling him is premature.
  14. Even if he is nearing full fitness it will take him 5 or 6 games to get back into the pace of the game so i doubt we'll see him again this season. That's a shame because despite his inconsistency he's a very good footballer.
  15. I've wondered this also. I can't imagine regular season ticket holders making excuses for the manager. I'm a STH - I buy three every year and I can understand why people don't hold Lambert responsible for the ills of the club. So maybe you need to broaden your imagination.
  16. I'm lucky to have married a great girl but if i cheated there'd be no second chance for me. Relationships are never straight forward so I'd never judge anyone on theirs but the thought of not seeing my kids every day is incentive enough to stick to my wedding vows!!!
  17. He's likely to have incentives added into the contract so by not playing him they won't run the risk of additional costs. Having said that win bonuses have been a bit thin on the ground recently.........
  18. I've had company Volvos and Audis for the last 25 years but none have been as much fun to drive as my 1974 Triumph Stag. I bought the missue a Juke a couple of years ago and it's so bland and boring to drive. It's the first and last time I buy a Nissan.
  19. Norwich - win Ci£eh - loss Chelski - loss Stoke - win ManUre - draw 7 points expected
  20. I think you're most probably spot on - certainly 37 points will be enough and maybe only 36. We'll be fine again this season but overall it's unacceptable.
  21. I do find it puzzling that Carruthers hasn't been recalled especially as we lack his type of player. In his brief taste of first team football he didn't look out of place so he's worth a place on the bench.
  22. I know an ex teammate of Muamba and he said there were suggestions Muamba was older than his stated age.
  23. Not impossible but if you alienate your squad then it makes it very hard to achieve. Strange decision given that they held ManUre to a draw and narrowly lost to Plop in their last 2 games.
  24. Carroll for Newcastle was over 3 years ago and Clark has improved since then. He reads the game far better than Baker so for me he's ahead of him in the pecking order.
