  1. Disappointed but not surprised. 3 points tomorrow please to soothe the disappointment.
  2. Looks like Naarich have kept a very disaffected player. Fingers crossed it backfires on them.
  3. According to Colley Naarich won't sell to us full stop. Not sounding too hopeful.
  4. I've never liked "My garden shed" and "All I care about" chants, they're my least favourite chants of all time (not knocking those that do BTW) It was great being able to sing "Seven times we've won it no-one else can catch us up" - sadly there's a few clubs that have caught us up and won the FA cup more times than we have.
  5. Guarantees a cup final ticket........
  6. It's a case of having pace in the team if Mel picks Lugano and defends high up the pitch which is his preferred style. I'm not Tonev's biggest fan but I do think his pace will cause them problems. FWIW i think Gabby will play.
  7. According to SSN Hughton has stated "Wes is a player who we have made clear to that the bid we received is not acceptable and that we are not willing to grant his transfer request" Still think he'll join if we stump up enough.
  8. If Gabby is out and as Mel appears to favour playing a high line I would be tempted to play Tonev. I think his pace would cause The Boggies all sorts of issues especially if Lugano and Ridgewell are playing.
  9. Not very PC of you but very true. The missing link is somewhere amongst that lot.
  10. Agreed but it's unlikely Clark and Vlaar will be injury and suspension free for the remainder of the season!
  11. I agree - the clue was how he spelt "sauce" and referred to it as being hot.
  12. It really p***** me off when games are switched to a sunday as both my lads play so we can't use our season tickets and can't get to away games.
  13. Signing players doesn't necessarily mean you're improving the team.
  14. OGS might look smug but i wouldn't want either Jones or Fabio, and if Zaha's attitude is questionable as some are suggesting then it might not be the masterstroke some are claiming.
  15. Would love to hear a rendition of "I do like to be beside the seaside" on wednesday.
  16. Hopefully not the third option. Heard an agent on the radio today and he admitted that things change dramatically during the final 48 hours of the window so I'm remaining optimistic.
  17. Agreed it's better to buy in the summer rather than January, but if Hoolahan can help us finish 2 or 3 places higher up in the league then that in itself is worth £750k per place. I'm not quite as confident as you are about not going down, I think we will be ok but I worry we are only a couple of injuries away from being vulnerable and being dragged into a nervy end to the season. If Hoolahan is insurance against that happening then it's sensible to bring him in.
  18. A player who was instrumental in Norwich's creative play under Lambert and a player who could do a job for us this season. Laughable. Oh, on the point about transfers, Lambert is almost always one to downplay activity, it's not really an indication of anything. Agreed Steve. There were similar comments made about Keane and his contribution during his brief stay was invaluable. I'm sure Hoolahan will have a similar impact. Lambert isn't likely to give anything away in a press conference about potential signings. Bertrand came out of the blue so maybe there's another signing on the horizon?
  19. Looked decent yesterday against Plop. Not what we need at this present time though. Another one for the future.
  20. Great club - Dean Smith and his coaching team are working miracles on the lowest budget in league 1. Decent youth set up too.
  21. One or two of the inbreds on the Norwich forum are really laying into us. They're more deluded than the Sandwell Town idiots.
  22. I'm sure Naarich will be desperate to offload players come the summer when they're faced with a huge drop in revenue due to relegation. Time to move on and let them implode due to their own stubborness.
  23. We can't go into the final 16 games hoping that Vlaar, Clark and Baker remain injury and suspension free. It's far too risky. If we can make it happen then Lescott would be the ideal signing.
