  1. Stand out player today. Probably on less than a third of Gabby's wages but has far more desire and ability.
  2. I'm used to seeing us lose having followed us for 40 plus years but what really pissed me today off is the lack of desire and commitment from Gabby. I know he's not the brightest but the least he can do is put in a shift. It could be worse though, at least we're not the Albion.
  3. So you think Cardiff and Fulham will stay up? I think you need to study the table again
  4. I've forked out for match tickets for me and my kids, a tank full of fuel, parking and food to watch Gabby impersonate a footballer yet again today. I didn't think he could play any worse than last weekend but credit to him he proved me wrong. Had he stayed on his feet and not looked for a foul we wouldn't 've conceded the second goal. Time to bench him because the lack of effort is unacceptable. Vlaar was at fault for Shrek's first goal however his movement today would've caused problems for any defender. What really annoys me is that we made Darren Flecther and Elbows Fellaini look like world beaters by standing off them. Maybe all those that slate KEA will accept he plays an important if not eye catching role in midfield.
  5. It really isn't It really is. Who else will pressure their midfield in the manner that Karim does? You can see that Lamber clearly has 3 types of midfielders in his mind. 1)Box to Box - Delph 2)Ball playing 'intelligent' midfielder - Westwood 3) The pressure guy - Karim We need him, his game is not a pretty one, but I think that he is a quiet hero of our team. Played well against Chelsea, when he went off against Stoke we crumbled. He'll be missed tomorrow.
  6. Echoes my thoughts. I'm looking up not down so whilst we're not mathematically safe realistically we are
  7. From what little we have seen of him this season, I think it's fair to say he's better than Baker.
  8. This. I can accept players playing poorly but putting in a shift. As bad as we were today, at least the others appeared to try.Gabby should donate this weeks salary to Acorns.
  9. Gardners issue is the injuries he picked up have affected his chances and development. I have seen nothing to question his attitude, belief or commitment Purely and simply down to fitness. He's struggling to get back to match tempo because he's hardly played for the last 2 seasons. It's a real shame and I hope we give him another year especially as we have seen how Delph has developed after overcoming injury.
  10. The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here by Alice In Chains. Rugeley Villa - the first album I bought when I was 12 years old was Sabbath Bloody Sabbath - still sounds great 37 years later!
  11. According to someone I know at Wednesday, his ability isn't the issue, he's struggling to get his fitness levels up. That's what prevented him from getting more game time there.
  12. Up until last weekend I would've said Fulham had gone but I have a sneaky feeling that Fulham's victory last weekend may just give them a little momemtum to defy the odds. I'd love Albion to drop but I suspect they'll just survive so in addition to Cardiff and Norwich it's Sunderland for me.
  13. The score line flattered them last night. They looked wide open at the back and 2 of their 3 goals were from a penalty and free kick. I didn't watch all of their game last night but from what I did see I can't recall ManUre creating much from open play. We'll be relaxed going to Old Trafford, we won't be under pressure so I expect at least a point.
  14. And there in a nutshell sums up 80% of Chelsea's fan base.
  15. Heard a stat yesterday that we have the 9th best defensive record in the PL this season. For me that reassures me that progress has been made and why relegation is no longer an issue this season. We'll be safe by the end of March and leave us to enjoy the remaining games stress free.
  16. Spot on. He's so far improved from his performance against Fulham earlier this season.
  17. Conversely I think the early yellow card helped him yesterday. It meant he couldn't afford to dive in which he is prone to do.
  18. Very very underrated. Will continue to improve and has a bright future ahead of him.
  19. A trier with a very good left foot. Boost his confidence and there's a decent footballer in there
  20. The red card was 100% correct. Willian was on a yellow and Delph was passed him. It was a cynical foul, there wasn't much contact but he nudged him over and made zero attempt to win the ball. He blatantly stopped the attack without trying to play the ball. I was screaming for the red card as soon as he made the foul. I don't even think it was a foul. Have you seen it a second time mate? These guys are running really quick...the slightest of touches can bring you down....Willian did just enough to "derail" Delph, Delph himself had his arm out to stop the challenge, But Willian was behind him and after dislodging him pulled his arm up to indicate he hadn't touched him, but he had....These guys are stealth like they know exactly how to do it....trained with Fagin( just joking, but thats equivalent to the skill they use) ....it was Yellow alright....Delph would no way have fallen as he was clean through, he was "derailed" Absolutely. And Delph is too honest to go down easily. He was clipped by Willian, maybe not cynically, but nonetheless it is a yellow card offence.
  21. Hopefully the boo boys will cut Bennett some slack after today. Didn't put a foot wrong and made a vital interception in the box. Voted Bacuna MOTM because he was effective both offensively and defensively. Each and everyone played well today, and glad to hear VP rocking again.
