What the manager wants is the best team available, out on the pitch. If he thought Greenwood would be in that team, he doesn't give a shit about any of the rest of it really.

But surely having him in and around the team won’t have a positive impact. It would be a disaster.

Jude Bellingham showed what other footballers think of him.

The women’s team, the academy, the staff, the supporters, the sponsors… it would be madness for the manager to back bringing him in as there’s almost no chance it translates to positive results

I find it bonkers that they’ve only won by more than 1 goal twice in the league this season. 12 wins by the odd goal! Must be some sort of record?

They’ve scored 1 league goal more than Luton this season - courtesy of beating Luton… by the odd goal.

Interesting discussion on the Totally Football Show podcast about United's recent style of play, they have transformed into a completely counter attacking team.  They're happy to sit back and let teams have the ball and as many chances as they want, then use their pace up front to counter.  It's why Luton had the majority of possession and chances.  Seems to be working at the minute, but surely only a matter of time before teams' figure this out, and just sit back so they have no space to run into.  Also, can't imagine the United fans will be too happy with this approach long term, they've been used to in the past controlling games, not letting other teams do it.

They play exactly the same as under Solskjaer. Rapid counter attack but very little control in midfield.

Last year I actually thought they were doing better with tempo with Casemio-Erkisen but both were always going to be short term signings and neither will be at Man. United next season so going to be another rebuild in that position.

One year on loan abroad so they can take the flak, one year on loan in England so they can take the flak, then he'll be back at utd

It's a calculated road back

Won't his contract just run out in that timeframe?

I think they'll just sell him this summer. Based on the pitch he's done pretty well at Getafe with goals and assists and seems some bigger teams think there's a deal to be done and don't really care about the off field controversies.

They need someone other than Getafe to come in for him otherwise Getafe will just wait it out.

If another buyer comes forward they might get some money for him.

He has been getting abused at nearly every stadium he has played at and a world class player has called him out for his antics in a game. If he goes to a bigger club it will be a lot more high profile

He has hasnt done much at Getafe either that would bring him back to a top team

SJR wants tax payers to pay for a new Man United stadium because it would also serve as a national stadium in the north of England.
Err, nope. Spend your own **** money.

This is the kind of shite the government would agree to

Some billionaire businessman can definitely 'convince' them, just threaten to move production and themselves out of the UK which will lead to job losses and less tax. Only to get the government money and then do that anyway.

National stadium should be in the centre of the country.

Ratcliffe must be on crack if he thinks he will get funding for another national stadium, based in the poorest and hardest part of the country to get to. Plus the FA still owns Wembley so would object immediately.

Anyway, the true stadium of the north has been built already at Vale Park. Didn't really go to plan.

Not to mention cuts to public services going deeper and deeper. Could you imagine if the government then put money in a billionaires pocket to build a stadium for his club… actually doesn’t seem that far fetched with the current lot.
