Things that piss you off that shouldn't

I've only ever been to one strip bar.

As with pornography etc I find the whole thing quite seedy, so I wasn't interested in having a dance. Anyway, I was part of a big enough group (spending lots of money), and they didn't mind that I wasn't giving them any business.

This one girl kept bothering me, asking if I wanted a dance, and I kept declining. After a short while, she just started talking to me normally. It turned out that she was studying the same accountancy course as me, and despite this, sounded like quite a nice girl. I managed to get her number and met her for a coffee the next day (we were on holiday at the time). Nothing came of it, but I'd be more interested in trips to strip bars if they all had this outcome.

Think this has been mentioned earlier on in the thread, but people who give tributes to and mourn celebrities who have died via overdoses. I have sympathy for the family in that situation but have none whatsoever for the "celebrity" as they did it to themselves, and it annoys even more when people claim it was a "tragedy". Just been reminded of this as I saw a story about that guy from glee, but same goes for people like Amy Winehouse. Also when it happens to non celebrities but I've never come across some one who has lost a loved one through overdose.

EDIT: Also completely unrelated, the LAD Bible on facebook. Used to enjoy it as they post funny pictures from time to time, but since I started perusing reddit, I've noticed that the guy(s) who runs it just takes pictures off of the front page of reddit and try and pass it off as there picture or it was sent into them. Plus the fact that every caption has to have the suffix -LAD or -WENCH.

On the subject of sympathy it annoys me when on Facebook people put a status like 'rip grandad 10 years today'. Why don't they go to the graveyard or have a moments reflection rather then putting it on Facebook when it's obvious they are looking for attention for people to feel sympathy for THEM rather then the deceased

I can understand if it was recent, as in within about two weeks or between death and funeral, but as you say when it's upwards of that it's obvious attention seeking. And to add to it, the stream of "r u ok?" messages that go with them. Actually, just Facebook.

Yeah. they've started lying as well.

Like posting a picture of something and saying "Imagine finding your Mom doing this", insinuating that the picture is of someone's mom, when it's not at all.

its the hypocrisy of it all that annoys me, the media like to pick and choose their tragedies from their dirty smack heads, something tells me there wont be an outpouring of grief on facebook when Pete Doherty finally overdoses...

Iceberg lettuce

Why????? :o

Because its tasteless shite, because its bloody crispy and because sandwich manufacturers seem obsessed by ruing an other wise good sandwich by inserting copious amounts of the stuff to the detriment of the other more important fillings

I like Iceberg.

The best for sandwiches, imo. If I was making a salad I'd go for something else, but sandwiches I like Iceberg.

You'd be up against the wall just after the umbrella owners come the glorious day
