Must be be awesome being you walking around in a daze thinking everything is perfect with King Deano. I'd suggest you stay like that because if the reality hits you it's going to hit you hard. So people write pages and pages of personal insults about him, abuse his son, throw things at him and because he said “that should shut a few people up” (which is bang on the money) everybody wets their pants. As I said before, this is why so many Villa fans dislike him, because he had a tiny little nibble back at them and who’d blame him. We know that the message boards and chat rooms go way over the top if we lose. Steve Bruce was right, winning a match will shut a few people up for a while. But each to their own. Really surprising that Villa fans would gloat about Newcastle doing well/better than expected. Yes he (Bruce) is doing well scraping wins and draws at Newcastle. But it is not sustainable long term and they will never be anything but a team battling relegation each season. They will circle the plug hole and go down eventually with that approach. If that's what turns you on then good for you. Is he doing better than Smith this season?yes, he is, clearly. But bear in mind Bruce inherited a squad, drilled to play the way he wants them to with lots of premier league experience. As per the posts above - he landed on his feet there. Smith on the other hand has had to build an squad of inexperienced players (premier league wise) - that he may or may not have had input into signing, and try to mold them into something approaching a premier league team.
