Still it's not success.

There's a difference between a good season and a successful season.

Celebrate all you won't but I wouldn't.

But too each their own.

To fall away in the race for the title does not feel like success.

I can remember how it felt both times I. The early nineties.

when we fell away in the battle against Liverpool there seemed to be an overwhelming sense of pride from the fan base.

In the race against Utd it felt a little disappointing as I remember kind of like a numb feeling that we had genuinely lost something within our grasp.

We did celebrate the 1990 team at Goodson on one of the Great Villa away days!

I think there was a great day out a QPR after the 1993 team fell away.

I guess the point I’m making is while losing is definitely not something to celebrate you have to put things into context and appreciate good seasons  as we know they don’t come round often.

Yes and I disagree with it.

I ask again. What is the aim of elite sport?

The aim of elite sport? To win trophies.

Aim of supporting a team as a fan? To enjoy it.

I'm enjoying every match under Unai.

Celebrate though is reserved to when we win things.

Hope the winners of the playoffs don't celebrate winning a loser trophy and if they don't win the league next season, they should be disappointed.

Wonder how many of the Newcastle team that got them to Europe will be there next season.

Shocked face.

I just read about this, current sponsor £6.5m a year… new Saudi Sponsor -> £30m a year.

Sounds legit.

Why not just make it a nice round £100m a year?

Super legit when you consider the owner of Sela is someone called Dr. Rakan Al-Aarthy. He is also on the board of directors for a company called Qiddiya. You'll never guess who else is on the board of directors.
