Spoony
That's it. Crystal Palace are now in the PL. Challenge to Derby's lowest points total?
BOF Posted May 27, 2013 Moderator Share Posted May 27, 2013 Brilliant. Wanted them up from the off but really didn't think they would do it.
Voinjama
Probably worst game I've seen in 5 or 6 seasons Seriously, that bad?
Voinjama
There are some poor teams in the prem next season. Good news. Even before the transfer business has been done, I think Palace are down already.
Ponky
Well with Mr Holloway up in the Prem again looks like we'll have a buyer for Barry Bannan.
CarewsEyebrowDesigner
Bannan will have them top 6 without a doubt.
Giro
Whats palace like as an away day then? As bad as people mentioned a couple of pages back?
Rodders
palace and hull almost certain for the drop next year. Cardiff need to invest but they do have owners with money I guess.
Avfc96
Whats palace like as an away day then? As bad as people mentioned a couple of pages back? It's quite difficult to get to.
coda
Those two teams wouldn't look out of place in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy final.
rendelc
Guaranteed 6 points from Palace next season That was really a woeful game.
VillaChris
It's supposed to be impossible to get to although you can change at Balham/Tooting (was down that part last week, Christ what a hole) and get a train to Selhurst or Thornton Heath (each half a mile away from the ground) DON't get off at Crystal Palace unless you want a 5 mile trek. Selhurst Park though I believe is a complete hole and they'll probably charge 40 odd quid for a ticket. When was the last time we won down there out of interest, it seems to be a bit of a bogey ground. Dosen't strike me as an area with a great range of pubs we I reckon the 3 promoted teams are the worst to come up for a while tbh. Palace will lose Zaha, Glenn Murray is out for 9 months and Phillips will retire. They also have Danny Gabbidon and Damien Delaney in central defence. Hull just scored over a goal at a game at championship level. Think Cardiff will struggle aswell but at least they have the quality of Bellamy in their squad. We really should be nowhere near the relegation battle next season if we sign some defenders.

Mantis
Selhurst Park is an absolute nightmare to get to if you're driving as well. Edited May 27, 2013 by Mantis
coda
Wimbledon used to play there so that would be two trips in the same season.
VillaChris
Yeah we struggled to beat either in the 90s when they were both in the prem. When did we last win at Palace in the league?
TRS-T
**** London clubs. You get rid of own and another spouts up in its place. Didn't the Football League originally limit each city to 1 club?
LondonLax
The recently referbed East London line now connects up to Norwood junction so that is another option for getting down there.
