4-2-3-1 will work fine. Decent size in the back as well. We need to stop conceding so pushing Clark to defending mid is a worth a shot.

Not sure about this being a must win - we're two points off the top of a group of four teams in our 'group' we need to win the group to survive and nothing will be decided today, win lose or draw. It does represent a great opportunity to put a bit of confidence into the side and it's a chance to maybe put QPR out of things completely.

Hope comes from our front four and we've got to put West Ham on the back foot from the off.

Thing is win today and it's confidence and momentum to take us to the Emitates where we may get a result then, then likewise Ci£y look shot so we could possibly nick something there.

Defeat today will relegate us. A draw would be poor but not a disaster

Yep defeat today would definitely relegate us - my understanding is that it would be mathematically impossible for us to overcome a two point deficit with just 12 games left.

A win would be very, very, very, very useful. A draw would be okay and a loss wouldn't leave us much deeper in the shit than we are now - yesterday's results make today a bit of a free one.

It's ridiculous to say that if we lose today it relegates us. Preposterous. We have to overtake Reading and stay ahead of QPR and Wigan to do that - there are 12 games to go and we're two points off topping that group. Win, lose or draw today it's not going to end that competition.

A win today wold be fantastic for our prospects of winning that contest, but we're not even on the home straight yet.

Losing today will not relegate us but it will really do no one at VP any good.

We need a win, I don't care how a last second own goal in an otherwise boring game would do. Just enough to give the team some hope (and us!)

Come on you Villa boys!!!!!

With Arsenal and Man City our next two games, it's a must win IMO.

Sick of reading the words 'MUST WIN' game. Every game is a 'MUST WIN' game. I can't think of any situation where we 'MUST LOSE' or 'MUST DRAW'.

The stupid cliches are really boring and unnecessary.

We've got 13 cup finals left this season.

To confirm this is a "MUST WIN" game.

13 games left with Man U, Man City, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool still to play.

No messing about, we need to go for West Ham right from the start.

Weimann, N'zog, Benteke and Gabby all guns blazing please!

If we lose today then we might aswell put a white flag outside Villa Park as we are down!

Setting off shortly for this 'Must Win' game.

It's pissing down, grey, miserable, cold and generally quite horrid out there.  Hopefully Andy Carroll's hair will get particularly wet and he will struggle to get about the pitch carrying the extra weight.  Our neatly trimmed squad however will be fine. 3-1 Villa.
