There's plenty of perfectly legitimate sticks you can beat Cas with. Very clearly my point was that 40 points may not be needed and that it might be possible to stay up on as few as 35 points. Whilst 40 is a good target to have in the previous five seasons 35 has been enough twice, 36 once, 37 once and 39 once so not reaching 40 points does not mean automatic relegation. Full blown arguments on message boards are a bit secondary school in my opinion, especially when we're all on here due to our support for Villa. But yeah, it's refreshing to see a manager (of ours) taking a genuine interest in the U19's etc. Might be the kinda thing that stops some of our better young talents leaving us. Paul Lambert has shown guts in the QPR and Stoke games to set us up to play with attacking impetus. I am so pleased that the corner looks to be turning for him. But the real tests of his ability could come now in the Fulham and Sunderland games.
