Nobody is slating the player as a footballer, they are just lamenting the depressing fact that we have signed ONE player in undisputedly the worst month in Villa's recent history and he has only ever reached as high as the French Ligue 2. There's just no defending it, and people are well entitled to be sceptical. It is honestly unbelievable that Lerner and Lambert (if he has a say) have allowed this to happen. Are they that confident that our current crop of players can get us out of this mess? I'm certainly not, and the statistics (i.e. 3 home wins in 27, 6 wins in 2012, 30 goals in 2012) certainly back up that we most probably won't. What are they doing?!
