clearly whatever opinions people on her have it means nothing to what the final decision is going to be by PL,

but with sylla, westwood, delph and el ahmadi all being sort of defence minded, does it really matter which are selected as they all have different attributes?

what we do know is that we also need an attacking midfielder in there too like tonev, nzogbia, gardner or carruthers

which is where we face our problem, its not tonevs position, zoggy is injured, gardner is starting fresh and samir is a) out on loan and B) not ready just yet

so who of the 4 mentioned, which 2, sylla, westwood, delph and el ahmadi, do we play and which 2 sits on the bench?

We probably won because he was'nt playing.

He's a bit of a luxury player for me, and hes not that good tbh.Needs replacing asap.A poor mans Carrick.Delph has been playing very well, and justifies his place, Sylla looks a very good prospect to me, and KEA offers a lot more energy and aggression than Westwood.Westwood is only young, needs to get stronger, and hopefully quicker, but we did'nt miss him yday.

It's still an open question exactly how influential Westwood is but before yesterday he had been involved in the move for 4/6 goals we'd scored in all matches.

Stats for the rest of the team (prior to yesterday's game):

Benteke 6/6

Agbonlahor 4/6

Weimann 3/6

Delph 1/6

Okore 1/6

Guzan 1/6

Luna 1/6

El Ahmadi 1/6

Arse, 1st goal, Gabby run assist, 2nd goal, Gabby assist, 3rd goal, Weimann assist, Chelsk goal, Gabby assist, Noocastle, Westwood corner, Yday, Gabby assist.

How has Westwood had  dealings in 4 goals?

A touch in the move before a goal.

For example, against Chelsea, Westwood passes to Agbonlahor, Agbonlahor passes to Benteke, Benteke scores. Westwood involved in move.

I like Westwood a lot as a player but not sure if he suits our counter attacking style and don't think he provides enough to play when the emphasis is on us to break another team down. Think he has the potential to be a part of both styles if he develops and improves his ability to prevent opposition attacks and start our own.
