Has been a few in recent seasons Willian(before he went Chelsea), Dempsey, Eriksen and Sigurdsson also heavily linked with Liverpool

Was a Liverpool "joke" a few seasons back that Spurs didnt make bids for players until Liverpool showed interest

Although Liverpool have been behind Spurs mostly in the last 5 years, they are still easily a  much bigger draw than Spurs. Not as big draw as Chelsea, City or Arsenal simply because they are not in the champions league. United are on a different level

when Spurs get the new stadium they will be streets ahead of Liverpool.  The premier league will just be 3 London clubs against 2 Manchester clubs.

Yeah you're probably right. Suprised Liverpool haven't either increased their capacity or got a new stadium.

They will be left behind before long.

Yep it is clear to see. Unless they somehow break into the top 4 the future isn't looking great for Liverpool

Slightly Brentish appearance but I thought Rodgers did okay at Scousepool. His average position during his time there was 5th, and the average expenditure given at Liverpool was 5th in same period.  Had a poor start and if they didn't think he was good enough they should have sacked him in the summer.  They are what they are- a side which should be near 4th, but probably more likely to be around 5-8th. Miles away from the top sides.

All the Bin Dippers on twitter seem to think Klopp is on his way there just because there was a dodgy article in a Bosnian Newspaper that the Metro picked up on.

That would never happen on this board :D
