Seeing andy's first fixture thread of the season has suddenly made more excited about the season (and miss the olympics less!) :D

Blackburn Leicester home against Peterborough Millwall looks the pick of this weekend's ties

Despite our poor result against Big Fat Sam's Hoofers it could have been far worse.

QPR - for all their new players look shite. The curse of bringing too many through too soon?

Norwich - second season syndrome anyone?

Liverpool - Shaky start from them. I reckon Brendan Rodgers will get the same treatment Woy got and be jettisoned mid season.

Did Blues lose as well?

I had a suspicion that Petric might be a decent signing for Fulham, and he's had a good start to proving me right.

Michu looks like he might be one to watch as well obviously.

I can't stand Alan Pardew.

It isn't helped by the fact I'm utterly convinced he's actually a pretty poor manager, and has stumbled upon a decent side to manage that last season seemed pretty unable to put a foot wrong.
