He shit himself I liked hearing Sabbath, but, as I've said on numerous occasions before, the PA system is just pants at our ground, it almost makes it not worth doing. Going to other prem grounds and hearing what there's sounds like really shows ours up. Maybe it's just where I sit, but I can barely ever hear anything. I didnt much like ...Silent Movie before the game, but when I heard it being played it wasnt too bad. I sit in the upper north, roughly in the centre and I can barely hear it either. Can hear the thunderbirds bit loud and clear but then the song seems to get drowned out by the crowd. turnermusic Posted December 2, 2012 Share Posted December 2, 2012 Hi there Villains, I am sending this post because on my visits to Villa park over the past few season I have become increasingly frustrated, firstly, due to the poor choice of entrance songs we have had at Villa Park and secondly, the fact that we now no longer have a regular entrance song at Villa park at all, but a random choice of song each home game. I obviously am well biased, but in my eyes we are far too important a club to see this part of a home game spectacle as unimportant. With the legacy of William McGregor, the fact that we are one of the few British European Cup Winners, the fact that we have provided endless English and British international players and the fact that we have a traditional and fantastic stadium, I feel we are a club that oozes class and tradition. We may not be hitting the heady heights that we once were but I feel we should be reminding away fans of these things each and every time they visit and one way I feel we can do this is with entrance music. Maybe, as a musician, I am seeing the entrance music as more important than it really is, but I feel we should use it as a way to celebrate our history and traditions as well as a way to get the stadium rocking for a game. Over the past few weeks me and my brother have put together what we think would make a good piece of entrance music for match days at Villa Park and a piece that I am hoping will represent the club and that more importantly Villa fans will like. I am hoping that Villa on here will like it and show their support for the piece. I am also happy to have any feedback on anything that anyone feels should be included in a "villa piece" because I wan't it to be a piece that villa fans can be proud of. It means nothing to us and demonstrates nothing to the away fans of what an important/giant club we are. Especially yesterday when we had spurs fans with an empty trophy cabinet giving us stick throughout the match. We should politely remind the away support at the start of each game. Im not saying this the best song/piece of music in the world but it would work!
