Villa fans will get the chance to vote before each match on the entrance music played at home games.

The tunes pumped out on the eve of each game are always the subject of much conjecture - but now we're giving the supporters the casting decision.

Before every Villa Park encounter, we'll publish a poll and you'll get the chance to have your say on the cacophony of noise cascading around the stadium.

Our first game of the season sees us take on Everton on August 25 - KO 3pm.

The poll for that encounter is now 'live' so click here to get your point across.

Songs pre-chosen for you to select from include Paranoid by Black Sabbath, Escape by Craig Armstrong, Bells are Ringing by the Holte End Fans, We Will Rock You by Queen, Theme from an Unmade Silent Movie by Norman Hurricane Smith, Hells Bells by ACDC, Hi Ho Silver Lining by Jeff Beck and Parklife by Blur.

There is also the option to select a future song, not in the pre-arranged setlist, and we will add popular choices throughout the season.

Russell Jones, head of marketing, said: "We appreciate what a hot topic the entrance music is.

"One person in the crowd might love one track and the person sitting next to him might not.

"We just thought we'd simplify the process by offering supporters the casting vote."

The decision was taken after the latest SCG meeting with fans, attended by senior staff Paul Faulkner, Russell Jones, Nicola Keye, Alison Plant, Lee Preece and Katrina Adamson.

Other topics covered included available matchday venues to meet and greet before games and gift vouchers.

Supporters were informed that the Holte Pub, Holte Suite, Lions Club Lounge and the Indoor Academy were all available on a matchday for season ticket holders.

And it was explained that gift vouchers purchased in the Villa Stores didn't have to be used purely on merchandise. They could be redeemed on tickets too.

The full set of questions and answers from the SCG will be published on AVFC.co.uk in the coming weeks.

Geezer Butler is wearing a Villa pin badge on the cover of Sabbath's album Sabotage. I would only go for Sabbath.I would also go for the full, unmolested version of Symptom of the Universe before every match...

The sound of shattering glass followed by Stone Cold Steve Austin's entrance theme. Perfect.

Only if our players walk out in leather vests and 'stone cold stun' the opposing team's players while chugging and spraying tins of beer over their lifeless bodies
