VTAB: The Villa Talk Advice Bureau

Recommended Posts

Come in, Welcome. Have a seat. Tea? Coffee?

Ok I have no idea if this has Bin Dunne before or not, but since we all know that VT is the font of all knowledge and advice, I thought we could put it all in one place, a sort of Yellow Pages for the hopeless.

So the general gist of this thread, if you are comfortable with it, you either

a) Post your expertise in a given area or

B) Ask for advice or assistance, and one or all of the great VT community will assist you.

Either that or you will at least know who to PM about "that" rash.....

Anyway, I'll begin.

I suppose my specialisms are Education (schools, Local Authorities etc) and Child Protection (nonce alert etc.)

Over to you wonderful wonderful people........

History: old stuff, some find boring, some fine facinating, nobody ends up learning from past anyway

Politics: whoever you vote for now is the same, but disguised at "left wing" or "right wing".

International relations: Israel and the arab world tend not to get on

Religion: stay out of this one buddy, you're not missing much

Economics: Europe's ****

YES FINALLY something I can genuinely contribute to, if the need arises. Time to pull out the ol' serious hat

*ahem*

My area of expertise are welfare benefits, specifically overpayments thereof. So if anyone ever has one, or knows someone who has one, I'm yer man. The real proper CAB can offer advice in these respects too, but given my deep seated hatred for them, I wouldnt advise it. I am much nicer right :)

Commercial and contract law, commercial litigation. Bit dull, sorry!

And, probably less useful to most looking for advice on here, I seem to have far too much knowledge about Friends, the TV series. Too much time spent watching it at Uni instead of studying.
