AValon
Had Spurs gone up there tonight and squeezed out a 0-1, I would have taken Bolton to beat the Boggies. As it is, they got spanked and it could be tough for them to get back up. I wanted QPR to go down, actually, but right now I'll take Bolton.....in fact anyone as long as it means we're safe! MONCABA
Come on guys ALL we can do is go into next Sunday's game, leaving the post mortem till later..... and do our best to give it some welly to try & lift the players! Personally I blame AM for being a bad man motivator but I also think too many of our players have been hiding behind the flack aimed at him also this season. Pongotastic
For us to go down, none of the following can happen. 1/ Stoke City beat QPR 2/ Man City beat QPR 3/ WBA beat Bolton 4/ Stoke City beat Bolton 5/ Tottenham beat Villa 6/ Norwich City beat Villa If any one of the above things from 1-4 or the reverse of 5-6 does happen, we’re safe. Equally, if one of the below happens we’re down. 1/ We fail to equal or better QPR’s result against Stoke. 2/ We fail to equal or better QPR’s result against Man City (who I should add have only dropped two points at home all season. 3/ We fail to equal or better Bolton’s result against WBA. 4/ We fail to equal or better Bolton’s result against Stoke. This is why we’re 22/1 against going down. It’s also why you never see a bookie on a bike.

Pongotastic
Clear as mud To put in lay man's terms, over the course of this season, the fact that at least three teams have shown themselves to be marginally more $hit than us, we could just be safe. briny_ear
I'd much rather QPR went down than Bolton Bolton is always a good cheap away dayRather selfishly, I'd prefer QPR to stay up because they are only a 20 minute bus journey away. Rubbish ground, mind.

Does QPR getting a better result than us mean that they will get 4 points and The final game of the season is deemed void? Literally, all 4 of the things you have to listed have to happen for us to go down. Thats why were 22/
Woodytom
The easiest way to look at it is: Are Qpr and Bolton going to get 4points from their remaining games? Probably not
