I can't get any nice chocolate in Holland.  None unless it's €1.60 for a Flake.

Nothing I like,  their biscuits are rubbish as well.

The local supermarket (Total floor space) is smaller than the George section at minworth Asda to give you an idea.  It's really not good.  I love chocolate,  a lot. It genuinely cheers me up.  It is one of the downsides of NL,  there are not many but this is one.

No mini rolls either.

(Anyone going to Amsterdam at any point soon?)

Important point about Mini rolls & then to start openly begging.

Do you count stroopwaffles as biscuits? They are the food of The Gods.

same here, the Aldi's and lidls are the same size at whats in England but the chains like rewe and edeka are tiny, slightly bigger than a Tesco express, Kidderminster blows Bonn out of the water

that said you can see what a town of 70k people having a Tesco, Sainsburys, morrisons, asda, 2 aldis and I think 5 Tesco expresses does to the high street

might have to set up some sort of chocolate bar / peanut sauce exchange

Milka is well nice.

And though not a bar, you cannot beat Chocomel for a drink!

I tried some Tony's Chocolonely the other week which is Dutch and gets a lot of rave reviews; I hadn't had any previously because it's quite expensive, but they were selling small bars in the supermarket, so got one to try.

Sounds like when I got really excited when they did a oreo peanut butter cadburys bar. Got well excited and it was utter nastiness

The biscuit is too dark for peanut butter imo

Anything that is chocolate / orange flavoured is absolutely disgusting, no one will ever convince me otherwise. Oddly (as her tastes follow her mother's more than mine), my daughter also shares this revulsion at the chocolate / orange combo

Ooh, you just reminded me of another lost classic: orange Aero. Lovely.
