Czechlad
Never seen Tonev's shaft so couldn't really comment. These Eastern Europeans are hung like Dion Dublin! Thank you

Danwichmann
Got 60 mins in a 1 0 loss (0 0 when he went off). Anyone got any idea how he played?

Rovers13
Just took a look at a Sheffield Wednesday forum. The consensus was that he was "off the pace" and a passenger, but one or two said they thought he has quality and it'll show when he gets up to speed.
Con
Not really a surprise. He needs games. At least they didn't go behind while he was on the pitch. Derby are a top side in that division, very confident team, so it wasn't an easy game to get your return after a long time out.
DeepDish
60 minutes is a good start when you have had the injury problems Gardner has had. Let's hope he can make 70 minutes next match and that he is not labeled off the pace and a passenger. He desperately needs competitive matches. Danishlad
Off the pace, maybe that's why he hasn't played for us. Still think he has a future with us though.
chappy
Listened to the comm of that game on the official SWFC website last night (was with a Wednesday supporting friend), sounded like a decent performance by the team but didn't hear Gary's name much at all
villaglint
Just glad to hear he started - hate it when they go on loan and dont get a look in. Baby steps - seem to remember Delph going back to Leeds on loan and being pretty lame but it did him good in the long run
Danwichmann
Game time is the main thing right now. I just hope he is able to keep his place in the starting 11, and am sure his performances will improve if he continues to play for a few weeks. Nigel Posted February 20, 2014 VT Supporter Share Posted February 20, 2014 Just shows how important it was that he went out on this loan really. Id bet it will take him months to get properly up to speed.

ramshackler
Good friend at work is a Sheff Wed ST holder, been keeping me up to date on Gardner. Last game was described as off the pace, but today he tells me he has been very good. Played a fabulous through ball to Nuhiu who missed, but he is raving about the pass. He seems excited by what he has seen today. Fingers crossed
