Randy isn't stupid. Is he? :? Might be a financial decision. Getting the right man in is the best financial decision he could make. Getting McLaren in would be the worst. Followed by Jol or Hughes Thing is, we are only being fed with names that everyone knows is either available or possibly available. None of us know the names of the other peoiple whom have applied for the job, or indicated that they might be interested through more indirect means. Names being floated about may be red herrings to take us away from the real targets, like this Ancelotti episode. Loss of revenue from ticket sales, possible loss of income from low finishing place. I hope Randy isn't that short sighted. Darren Bent is proof that you get what you pay for in this game. Moral of the story: Never be surprised by AVFC I think that was mainly because JG was Brians number two, before trying his luck elsewhere. He knew the players, and the feeling arounfd the place was, Brian only started struglling once Gregory had left.
