That's my concern too with it too. I'm going to give it ago because it's an interesting premise, but without a clearly defined overall story arch it could go downhill fast. Revolution was similar (although the shit acting/script let that down too). A cracking idea to start with, but quickly turned to shite and went from a great idea about the world losing all power to some modern day civil war bollocks. On another note, finished series 3 of Breaking Bad last night. Epic. Edited September 14, 2014 by wazzap24

Gets a bit slow in the middle of the series but stick with it, it ends well

Stevo985 Posted September 15, 2014 VT Supporter Share Posted September 15, 2014 I'm not a big fan of Taco really. He has some very funny moments, but he annoys me most of the time. Rodney is my favourite.

snowychap
House of Cards is great fun, but The West Wing is infinitely better. Am thinking about having a butcher's at Spacey's House of Cards - should I blot from my mind any thoughts of Ian Richardson's Urquhart and the original or is it all sufficiently different? Sufficiently different in my opinion. To come back to your post and CED's on the same subject, I'm thankful for the input as I got round to watching both series of it in the last couple of months and I thought it was really good. Spacey is excellent but so are many others. Some basic similarities in plot but certainly sufficiently different to enjoy it immensely - though the Underwoods are immensely loathsome characters!
