dudevillaisnice
Fulham should just ask for ££££, nice of Liverpool to try and offload their deadwood as part of deals.. maybe we should try it (Warnock + Hutton + £££ for a top player). Anyway apparently RvP to Man United is a done deal and the fee is £25m.. apparently it will be in the papers tomorrow. We will see.

Zatman
if he went to United and RVP and Rooney click it could be as devastating as when Cole and Yorke was for them

villa4europe
both drift away from the centre though dont they absolutely no doubt in my mind they would be brilliant together but IMO utd look better when rooney is paired with a goal hanger be it welbeck or hernandez

drat01
Defoe @ Sunderland?
The_Rev
Seen the rumours, dunno how much I put in them. The fee is a huge factor here, I'm guessing Spurs would want a few quid for him but do Sunderland really want to pay £15m+ for a guy who will turn 30 before he has played half a dozen games for them? You bring him in on a three or four year contract and he will have no resale value whatsoever at the end of it. Mind you, that kind of thing has never bothered MON in the past so it might happen... VillaGoMarching
Have Sunderland signed a striker yet? It's typical of MON to struggle so much in that department, I'd put money on a deadline day move for Heskey. Going into the season with only Frazer Campbell, Ji Dong Won and Connor Wickham wouldn't be great.
villa4europe
leaves spurs with no strikers too if MON offers silly money then they'll accept of course but it leaves spurs with a lot of work to do in a week
