PieFacE Posted April 15, 2011 VT Supporter Share Posted April 15, 2011 I just don't rate any of Sandlers comedies at all. Tried watching Billy Madeson on a hangover and it was truly truly awful. However, I echo the thought of those who like him in Reign On Me. Excellent film. It's a shame he pumps out so much dross otherwsie he could be a really good actor. Rodders
50 First Dates, Billy Madison and Happy Gilmore - I enjoyed Big Daddy, Click - inoffensive others - garbage 50 First Dates loses minus points simply for employing Rob Schneider though

AVFC_Hitz
I'm sorry.(In advance) But far-east Asian films are just boring as sin for me. Japanese/Korean/Chinese. Kung Fu/ Horror just don't get it.

There are however some absolutely superb Asian horror/thrillers/dramas out there, many of which put the output from Hollywood to shame.

villa4europe
last sandler film i watched was funny people and it was utter shite, also committed the offence of being a 2 and half hour long comedy, never a good idea especially when its not funny
claret75
I fancy watching a thriller/mystery type film tonight, had a look at the IMBD top 50 thrillers, but I've seen most of the them. Can anyone recommend something?

I think Wiggy is talking about the Adam Sandler remake Mike. You're right about it being ghastly too. As a Capra fan it's best avoided.
kidlewis
I just read the wiki on the graphic Novel Priest (which sounds epic) only to find that the movie coming out involved a really crappy plot which barely resembles the graphic novel.
