kurtsimonw
FIFA FIFPRO XI: Casillas; Alves, Pique, Ramos, Marcelo; Alonso, Xavi, Iniesta; Messi, Falcao, Ronaldo. ^^All La Liga. I think Ashley Cole deserved it over Marcelo. The bigger shock is no Pirlo, really!?
The_Rev
Who would you leave out? Xavi and Iniesta showed Pirlo who was boss when Spain absolutely destroyed Italy in the Euro 2012 final.
AVFCforever1991
Ashley Cole should be in.

Italy didn't have much creativity, so of course a very good team can limit him when they play with about 6 CMs. I think he should've been in instead of Alonso personally. Marcelo over Cole is just silly though, I don't even see Marcelo play when I watch madrid games anymore.
villa4europe
id say cole in for marcelo and maybe hart in for casillas who's been really poor in the league this season IMO other than that i can only really think of pirlo / toure / schweinsteiger / biscuits instead of alonso but i think that if i was to clutch at straws and name 20 players missing from that team 3 would probably be from the prem at best, ze germans have more reason to complain than we do
Zatman
Lahm or Arbeloa ahead of Alves the guy is awful in 2012 and was hauled off in an El Clasico after 30 minutes for Montoya who looked a lot better and maybe Hummels or Pepe over Pique who is vastly overrated Edited January 7, 2013 by Zatman
Voinjama
How is Alves is in the team. This is not 2010, Alves has regressed in the last 2 years. That team will add weight to those who believe the Spanish league is the best in the world.
kurtsimonw
Pirlo finished 7th in voting, Alonso 11th. Yet Alonso is in the team and not Pirlo. How very odd.
Dr_Pangloss
Pirlo for Alonso indeed, Pirlo's performance against England was masterful, and so was the way he managed to resurrect his career at Juventus.
The_Rev
Leo Messi scored his 37th goal of the season for Barcelona tonight. It's reaching the point now where if he hasnt scored by half time people will start calling a goal drought.

Zatman
Atletico Madrid are traditionally Europes biggest underachievers. doesnt matter how good their form is its still a big doubt betting that much on them
The_Rev
Love the title of this clip. Real shame nobody was on the end of it to score because it would have been one of the best goals ever.
ryanvilla_1994
Yep that move was brilliant. Even with Messi and Ronaldo around Iniesta is stilll my favourite player to watch.
kurtsimonw
2nd touch when he receives the ball back from Cesc wasn't intentional, he's just a Spanish Delph really.
