No way can he be trusted to start in such a big game IMO. This is a season defining game and Rogers looked lost against Ajax in all honesty. We can’t afford passengers against Spurs who will be at almost full strength. Leeroy Posted March 9 Share Posted March 9 (edited) Other than who replaces Ramsey if not fit, I think the only other selection questions are: Digne v Moreno: I’d personally go Digne for being better defensively against the threat of Porro/Kulusevski, but Moreno might better exploit the space in behind Porro so could understand either. Emery seems to love Moreno despite looking suspect recently, so I suspect it will be him, but let’s see. Cash v Lenglet/Carlos: does he play Cash at right back with Konsa in the middle with Pau Torres, or does he play Konsa at right back and start Carlos or Lenglet alongside Pau? I think the second option again gives us more defensive solidity and also protects Cash who that thug Romero may be targeting, but I also think Cash has been playing well of late so can understand either. I know the Villa that beat City and Arsenal in 4 days should come out on top, I suppose a draw wouldn't be that calamitous. They're not catching either us or Spurs with whoever wins this game. We'll be 11 points clear of them with a win and Spurs will be six clear with a further game in hand. I think people are getting way over the top with this "Man. United will just be gifted endless ref decisions" to get 4th/5th when they've missed out on CL four times in the last decade and in reality they're not good enough to capitalise anyway.
