Sunderland/Newcastle game has the potential to be a cracker.

It does, especially if Sunderland win! Newcastle should be too strong but playing away in front of a feisty crowd and not in good form, anything is possible.

If I had nothing better to do I’d watch it.

What the **** with the kit clash. Not working for my eyes at all

Ya it's worst I've seen in a long time, hopefully they might change one of them at halftime

Thought it was just my eyes but jeez it’s difficult on tv from the wider angles

Why no VAR here?

Can only be used at premier league grounds in FA cup for some reason. Bit of a mockery when Stadium of Light is one of the top 10 grounds in the country for facilities.

Yeah, that sounds like complete BS to me.

Probably the cost of putting the technology in place.

Must be difficult for the linesmen to call offsides.

Sunderland had the better of them in the last few Premier League seasons

Sunderland with an impressive 26% possession so far according to BBC.

Not able to see the game unfortunately. Do Beale's Sunderland have any wingers by any chance, or are they forcing it through a 1m corridor in the centre of the pitch?

I wonder if Newcastle should have worn their second shirt but protested in some way go wear black/white.
So many times I’ve thought a misplaced pass was actually a good one.
