MrBlack
To confirm and contradict my earlier post, they will be at home at their usual stadium. They got approval for their stadium from Uefa last season... https://www.jabuka.tv/stadion-zrinjski-dobio-uefa-ino-odobrenje-za-odigravanje-utakmica/ Quote HŠK Zrinjski Stadium received UEFA approval for playing group stage matches in the 2023/2024 season. In Mostar, HŠK Zrinjski, after the rematch against Austrian LASK on Thursday, are waiting for at least three more European matches , regardless of the play-off epilogue for the European League. After Zrinjski was given the green light for the first time in the previous season to play the matches of the 3rd round of qualifications and play-offs, UEFA this season, after additional efforts, positively assessed the infrastructural developments to eliminate objective deficiencies in accordance with the UEFA rulebook on stadium infrastructure . Considering that the conditions for playing European matches are more and more demanding every year, we see this decision as an incentive to continue investing in the stadium infrastructure, all so that HŠK Zrinjski continues to grow and be what it is - Mostar's European, says HŠK Zrinjski in a post on the official Facebook page. avfc1982am
Olsen Cash Chambers Lenglet Moreno Dendoncker Luiz Ramsey Zaniolo Diaby Duran Dougie is out of Sunday. Cash and Moussa will be fresh. The rest could do with minutes even if only 60 before replacing.

Olsen wasn't bad at all last time out and player continuity and rest is probably the most important thing before Sunday. That line up should be more than enough to win the game. Plus subs will come on in the form of Ollie and others at some point if the game isn't already wrapped up. I think we need to use the time wisely to rest players or we'll be flogging dead horses soon enough. Konsa deserves a break as much as everyone as next to Luiz hasn't he played the most minutes this season?
Vancvillan
VT in agreement for 9-10 of the starting eleven? Villa fans in disbelief when Don Emery checks the official UEFA website and plays Swinkels in nets. 2
It's Your Round
Olsen wasn’t on the bench for the Man City and Arsenal games, was he? Is he even fit to play on Thursday if we rest Emi? I’ve no idea if Marschall is ready at this stage.

Ceemo
Still can't believe that Zrinjski are allowed to play their homes game in that stadium as it only has one stand! I'm Irish and it is a regular sight to see Irish teams have to move to play in another stadium once they get to a certain stage in Europe. Derry City for example had to play one of their European games this season in Dublin which is almost a 4 hour car journey away. Derry had recently redeveloped their stadium as well, so the mind boggles. Zrinjski's stadium looks very much out of date. As for Zrinjski by the way. Since we last played them, their form was ok before they played in Warsaw against Legia. They lost that which pretty much put them out and then 4 days later lost 3-0 away to their city rivals Velez. Despite being the first Bosnian side to make it to a group stage in Europe and leading them to the title last season by 20 points, they sacked their coach Krunoslav Rendulic after those results, which was incredibly harsh. Since then, they have appointed another Croatian coach in Marko Ivankovic and have won 3 out of 4 leagues games along with the defeat in Alkmaar. They currently sit 2nd in the Bosnian league, 7 points off the leaders. They won their last game 2-0 on Sunday away at Siroki Brijeg. Check out the state of the pitch: The weather is not great at the moment in Mostar according to the apps. Hopefully their pitch is nothing like that one tomorrow night. Zrinkjski have a better ground than that, the pitch isn’t great but its looks better in this video. WakefieldVillan
I'm all for making changes in this one, and I still think we can get the point required (minimum) Olsen Cash Chambers Lenglet Digne/Moreno (45 each) Diaby Dendoncker Luiz Ramsey Zaniolo Duran Think Chambers is the biggest concern there, but hopefully he would perform better than he did at RB last time out. Can't be any worse, can he... Olsen improved last time out, so why not! Minutes for Moreno in view to Sunday. To be able to rest Martinez, Konsa, Carlos, Torres, McGinn, Kamara, Tielemans, Bailey, Watkins for Brentford would be massive IMO. 1-1 tonight. 1-3 win on Sunday. Then top of league on 22nd
