The common consensus just seems to be obvious and boring, they bought too many players all at once with no obvious thinking about how they were going to fit together. When your manager can’t even take a training session because he’s got too many players to deal with, only he can’t bin any of those players because they are all full internationals on long contracts with high wages then you’ve just got into a tangle that’s gonna take years to undo.
