Should be a red, what's the difference between swinging an arm and swinging a leg like that?

No intention of winning the ball or any attempted tackle, he's booted him

I've no idea why that wasn't a red card. Easy decision to make. Shows you how bad officiating is.

The bottom four teams already set in stone. 3 of those 4 to go down, everyone else will be safe.

I think Sheff Utd still have a squad that's a decent mix of PL experience and youth/talent. If they sacked Heckingbottom now and got Wilder back in then maybe they could turn it around? Bournemouth are only on 6 points after all. I reckon Burnley and Luton have no chance though.

Netherlands forward Bas Dost collapses during game as match between AZ Alkmaar and NEC Nijmegen suspended

The Eredivisie match between AZ Alkmaar and NEC Nijmegen was suspended just before full time after NEC forward Bas Dost collapsed on the field Sunday.

Dost collapsed as he was making a run towards goal. The medical staff rushed to meet him and players on both teams created a human shield as he received treatment. The former Netherlands international regained consciousness but was stretchered off the field.

No details were available on Dost's condition or as it pertains to the cause of his collapse.

Just keeping an eye on our rivals in the Conference League.

As mentioned above, Bas Dost collapsed in the final minute as NEC Nijmegen led 2-1 against AZ in injury time. The game was abandoned and the result may stand. It would be Alkmaar's first league defeat of the season.

Zrinjski could only draw 2-2 against Posusje and are now second in their league, 6 points off the leaders.

Legia's poor from in Poland continued as they lost 3-1 to Stal Mielec. They had 26 shots to 3 and somehow were beaten. 4 consecutive defeat in the League for Legia and after a start of getting 20 points out of a possible 24, they now sit in 6th, 7 points off the leaders.
