Let’s not beat around the bush here. We all know this is going to come down to Villa needing to win the UECL to qualify for the CL.

Big, big final awaits 😉

We don't know that at all.

West Ham had 1 shot to Leverkusen's 33. It would have to be a decent turnaround.

Yes I don't see them pulling thst around. Oh well.we must finish 4th now

Next leg could see a lot of English teams eliminated, pretty sad if that happens. We have a very slender lead also. Have no idea if Liverpool will turn this around but they've really cocked up.

Liverpool losing in that way is a shocker. If they win the away leg and go out it still helps. We need City to go all the way I think.

Pretty bad night. Liverpool killing it.

West Ham and Arsenal are the teams we really need to win. If they both go through its pretty much over.

Disastrous night for the coefficient. Liverpool winning was something we all banked on and they got smashed at home 0-3. We really need City and Arsenal to win their return legs now.

I said previously that Liverpool would throw the Europa if in with a title bid come the quarters

So the Villa win a european quarterfinal and instead of celebrating it I’m feeling horrible because Arsenal, Liverpool and West Ham couldn’t win.

What has football turned into these days..

West ham are never winning but was never factoring them into. Arsenal and City win plus athletio knock out dortmund and if we go through things are still OK. Would expect leverkeusen to now be favourites for the EL though

Still plenty of ties to go guys. Even if Bayern win and arsenal lose then its directly city vs Bayern. Also dortmund don’t look like winning

Sadly enough @Delphinho123 is probably right.

The cosmos is lining up that we have to win in Athens to make the UCL.

The biggest moments require the biggest players.

70% of the time, I’m probably right all of the time.

You do. You just don’t know that I know you do.

What?

1. We could finish 4th.

2. Arsenal could knock Bayern out.

3. Man City, the holders, could knock Madrid out,

4. West Ham could turn it around in the 2nd leg.

All of those are possible and perhaps all bar number 4, are more likely than us winning the competition, given we are only in the QF and face a tough 2nd leg.

It’s all heading towards Villa needing to win the final in Athens I’m afraid.
