Holding 31 shots to Brentford is absolutely outrageous. They are such a bad side.

Hope they keep ETH in charge for as long as possible

or sack him and get Gareth Southgate in

10 points is 5th at a canter. Utd would have to win 7 and draw 1 of their last 9 games to beat us.

I honestly think 6 more points will probably be enough for 5th. Maybe less

Yeah you’re probably right about two more wins - United very unlikely to go 2ppg from now!

Yep, we stil have to play them, we win them games.... makes it interesting 🤣

You joke but if Arsenal beat City tomorrow (possible) and we beat them on Wednesday (less likely) we're a point behind with 7 games to play...

If we win all of our remaining games 6-0 we still wouldn’t win the league from here

Yep if we’re out of the title race, they’re doubly out of the 4th/5th race

Was saying this earlier. How are we not in a battle for 2nd or 3rd if Man U are in a battle for 4th?

Our defence was decimated when we played them.

We still dominated the game at Villa Park. At Old Trafford they made a change to their formation and we were slow to react and they took the initiative. But we should have so both.

How we dropped 6 points to these scummy clearings in the woods I’ll never know.

It's because in the big games when less is expected from them their players seem to put in a little effort.

They don't bother trying as hard against little old Brentford

We'd also be top of the premier league.

Yeah those 12 points we lost to poor Newcastle and MU sides is seriously annoying.

Ah well. I'll take Champions League qualification and a European trophy.

Yeah but my point is if we had Pau I think we would have held on at Old Trafford whole the game at Villa Park was 'one of those' where you batter a team and lose.

Jesus Brentford had 31 shots and still somehow Man Utd still nearly won.

Toney should've buried that one on one early on. The other crossbar chances were tricky attempts. I thought that Toney chance near the end summed it up, Martinez just gives him the ball to run straight through on goal and he hesitated so much and eventually just passed it straight to Maguire.

So many forwards let Man. United off the hook it's untrue with odd decisions once in the box. Just shoot as Onana's been letting loads in through his body this season from close range.

Newcastle were a different beast at the start of the season. That wretched record at SJP is one we still have to put right next season whenever we play them but it was a bit of a awful storm that hit us all at once in that game, it happens.

Brentford will be a tough game next week, they looked much better today.  Wissa, Mbeuno and Toney all back.

We will smash the living granny out of them

I'm worried about the Brentford game now if they play like that.

Also Mbuemo back from injury so will be a tough game.

I'm not, they were on top against an opponent for 90 mins and failed to hit the target

Manure have so many gaps from defence to midfield it’s unreal. Brentford will be a tough team to play but we’re better than Manure. We will dominate the ball. We need to watch their counter attacks though.

The only games I’m now worried about are the ones involving German teams in Europe

You've got to remember how stupendously shit Man United are this year.

They let every team they play have 15-20 shots per game.

Brentford are a useful team, but we'll have enough.
