The person behind the account used to specialise in scouting and transfers. I believe 2 seasons ago they was ITK for some of our dealings. I think he got into a bit of trouble leaking news so switched to a tactical page since, they seem like a sound person tbh.

If I remember right it was him under the previous name that knew about Ings

If we're focussing on another LB whilst Digne is still here then we'll almost certainly be going for a RB too.

If Digne goes then an easy and fairly obvious player to go for is Borna Sosa at Stuttgart.

As for right back Wan Bissaka has been staring us in the face all summer.

Wan Bissaka would hardly be straight forward. He started for United last night - he's still in demand there. Their only other RB is Dalot - AWB would probably be ahead of him so he'd be their No.1 RB.

While it was a nice hat trick it was nearly half his entire goals return that season

He isnt a finisher

You would know better than me mate… just wondering on the versatility he can offer…

5 goals in 10 games for Gala?

They definitely want a right back to suit their style.

Could be him, yeh. Might be Chiesa.

Literally every season people go into the last week thinking the REALLY big signing is still to happen. And it basically never does. Who was the last big name player we picked up in the last week of a window?

Bednarek - he was really big (height wise) 😉

What we do about strengthening up front is the most intriguing thing for me at the moment.

We are so thin on the striker front. 1 proven senior striker is absolutely absurd, especially when we're facing potentially the longest season we'll have faced in over a decade. Someone needs to be in there that can take some of the burden off Watkins, or give us options when he's struggling in a match. It's unlikely that will be a huge signing so there's particular intrigue for me about the kind of clever, value, signing we could get to fill that gap.

Yeah, I think we'll get a striker in last minute.  Won't be a "big name" signing or someone we'll break the transfer record for.  Will likely be a more experienced forward, someone in late 20/early 30s.  Someone with a bit of experience that Emery trusts.

Found this an interesting one. This guy - who is a good follow for what it's worth - only really posts about tactical stuff and doesn't get involved in any kind of speculation outside of the odd time he might hear something. Not sure if he's just reiterating that he got Zaniolo right or he's hinting at Acuna/Montiel also.

He used to be more of an itk account and defo gets information, wanted to focus on tactics though
