How is he nearly getting a suspension for yellow cards? Theres naivety and there's stupidity.

And then there's enthusiasm...

He can't close down for shit, he clatters people

Id rather that than someone at his age and level not putting the yards in

He'll get his head round it

Why does he lose his game nearly every game he comes on. He's young but it's no excuse he's going to be a bigger liability one match. The fact he nearly and should have got a 5th yellow in very few minutes is telling. It's a shame as he's a talented player.

Bad cameo today - touch and decision making not good. It's to be expected with kids though and we shouldn't be looking at him to change a game at his age.

What exactly are we allowed to expect from a substitute player then?

He is causing havoc when he comes on, but today we would have been better of keeping Diaby on the pitch. Very nearly a completely unnecessary red card, and then we got caught on our heels when the game continues after that VAR check. I feel we kind of lose our rythm a bit when he comes on, he wrestles and fights like Marlon Harewood or Grant Holt but quite often loses the ball and make us lose possesion. If his lay of to Watkins had been better weighted Watkins would have got a clean strike on goal as another example.

It's of course impressive that he is performing at such a young age and not writing him off at all, still much room to improve, but I think we need a better option going into the second half of the season.

We hope he learns from the minutes he gets and can impact the game, but it's stupid to expect him to dramatically change the course of things at his age.

He’s got some way to go and his moment of madness cost us. But there is talent. I think we need another striker though, we need something different to Ollie. And no, it’s not Cameron Archer.

He was lucky to stay on the pitch. There’s heart and fight but there’s also petulance, and frankly a lack of professionalism. He may turn into a player we can rely on, one day, but he’s not that player yet.
