Álex Moreno

A little media side note: Revelo.com began reporting on this at least three weeks ago. It may be a Spanish-language source worth favoriting while Emery's in charge or if you're into La Liga. It's not obscure, but part of the Telegraph-/Mail-like ABC/Grupo Vocento media empire.

That looks like when you a saying hi to a kid and you try to get yourself down to their level.

Mings is as tall as him, and he's nearly on his knees lol

I just looked at that photo and thought how awkward it must be to meet a new colleague for the first time with a rubber band wrapped round your legs.

I thought he was pulling his pants down initially because he was that excited by Morenos looks…

How weird would it be for Moreno or Digne to jump over to RB ever? Is that very unusual?

Wingbacks don't tend to play the wrong side for their stronger foot, as they can't clear a ball down the line with their preferred foot. They either use their weaker foot and likely mishit it, or use their stronger foot but the ball curves out of play.

Not unheard of, and maybe more likely in this day and age where long clearances are less common.

Hate to be the one pissing in the paella, but “Aston Villa is”?

Surely it’s always “Aston Villa are”?

Next we’ll be chanting Deeeeeee Fence and asking who takes Pee Kays.

On topic, don’t care about age for this price. Get three good seasons out of him and we’re laughing.

In this instance it's Aston Villa, the club.

You wouldn't say "The club are delighted", that's just shocking English.

When referring specifically to the team on the pitch, "Aston Villa are" is more appropriate.
