There are seven groups with five countries - and three groups with six teams in them. The four Nations League finalists - Croatia, the Netherlands, Italy and Spain - have gone into the smaller groups.

The top two teams in each of the 10 groups qualify directly for Euro 2024.

Germany automatically qualify as hosts, while the remaining three teams will come via the Nations League play-offs.

The groups start on 23 March and end on 21 November 2023.

Think this is the only thread for this hence the bump.

What's everyone's take on the Scotland disallowed goal?

Bit bizarre that the ref didn't know why he'd disallowed it (according to our very own John McGinn), but seemed to me to be the right call.

He's both offside and fouling the keeper. Strange they're saying that stopped them qualifying

I'm glad we get the chance to see what Henderson can do in an England shirt tonight

Grealish is such a boring player now. @KevinRichardsonsMoustache got it spot on with his post. His talent has been quashed.

Absolutely - dally on the ball, think about going down the flank turn and pass it inside or back or both.  Almost every time, utterly predictable.  It's like he's had the flair programmed out of him.

Don't see Scotland game in the title?

My mistake, just saw people posting here and in the Southgate thread about the England match rather than the dedicated thread

I can't be held responsible for what other people post. 😜

What's worse is that tonight's England game wasnt even a Euro qualifier. Last i checked Australia played in the ASEAN federation.

Ireland out. 4 wins in 3 years I think I heard the pundits say. Kenny has to go.

We should try hire Smith. He would be a better candidate than bloody Bruce

Isn't the U-21 coach doing a pretty good job? Maybe he could step up.

He is but the Irish media and fanbase are in a bitter split at the moment between local journalists and fans of the domestic league and big name ex players who never really  played in Ireland but want to hire a Bruce like figure who are supported by the United/Liverpool brigade

Sadly he will be seen as a Kenny disciple so probably wont get it
