messi11
Brighton have been a joy to watch especially Mitoma. They're so good with the ball. They don't even need Trossard. They finally found a number 9 in Ferguson. We should focus on Liverpool, Chelsea and Fulham.
Villa87
Too many good teams outside the usual contenders to get much more than 9th-10th. Would represent a good season all things considered.
VillaChris
Good chance we go above the loser of Liverpool-Chelsea next week then. Watched Everton-Southampton today. Thought Southampton were very lightweight and barely offered anything in first half going forward. Everton gonna Everton though. I think we've learnt by now it's not a good idea to give Ward Prowse a free kick from 25 yards out. I expect us to beat them. Leicester are in horrible form again and have countless injuries so we need to be looking at minimum of 4 points from next two games to keep touch with teams above us as it's Man. City-Arsenal after.

They'll lose Toney for a few months and not like they have endless depth. Think they'll have a winless run once they get to 40 points. Spurs have Arsenal, Man. City twice and Fulham away in their next four so we could cut the 8 point gap to them a bit in next month. VillaChris
Would help if the FA would get round to suspending Toney for a bit. Seems that investigation is being conducted at usual snail pace speed and they'll probably do it the week before the last game and just have his 3-4 month ban run over the summer. JAMAICAN-VILLAN
Fulham, Brighton and Brentford are 3 teams above us we should really be ahead of. They frustratingly won't stop winning at the moment though

It's not like we're trying to chase down Newcastle which looks a very remote possibility. They've won 4 of their last 5 games aswell so just think a more middling run is just around the corner for them and Fulham. They frustratingly won't stop winning at the moment though Brighton won against Liverpool and kept them on distance with us, Brentford was the only result that really didn’t help us. Fulham and Newcastle a draw would be perfect. I’m not saying we should target 4th, but as much team in distance the more chance to do something. If we got 4-5 points and no one got above Newcastle while they don’t get more than a point. We’ll be 6 points to 4th. Ofcourse we’ll go into bad runs, we just need to be in touch with everyone so we can give ourselves something to play for. So when we lose we can still have a chance to get 7th. For me it’s to early to care about the teams that would threat us for top ten, we need to look at every team that we might catch. We were in a very good position the other year, after Jack injury Leeds became above us while coming from a long way. Three teams are playing in their own league, Newcastle are with them so far, not sure will they stop and get found out or continue, but we shall hope that the start losing points soon.
ender4
Damn Brentford. These teams just above us keeping matching our results so we’re unable to overtake them for now.
abdulaziz1
Palace beating Chelsea, Fulham beating (or drawing) with Newcastle. If we beat Southampton then those results will be so good. Brentford winning is annoying but apart from us you can’t seriously expect any team to lose to Bournemouth. Generally all games had good results for us. Tough game against Southampton, hopefully we can win it. To save our season, we shall play each game as if it was a cup final.

Zhan_Zhuang
We have home matches against Fulham and then Brighton last game of the season. The latter particularly could be a decider for a European place.

I think we’d need to go on an insane run of form, starting with beating both Southampton and Leicester to even have a chance.
Pinebro
Gerrard ruined our chances. Season is over. Disaster that we treated the cup like we did. Would be the perfect season to go for it.

You have to think we'd have beat Bournemouth and West ham and probably forest which would give us 8 more and he right in the top 4 mix

Just think about next game for us and teams around us.

Chelsea lost twice, Liverpool lost twice. To go to Europe we’ll have to be above one of these two (,Spurs or Newcastle) plus the other 3 teams. They’re winning against those so I don’t see where is the issue? apart from Brentford beating Bournemouth which is a given. Still a lot to come, we just have to do our thing and hopefully other results will help us. Next week is a cup final against Southampton. Finish that then think of Leicester. We played a strong team, certainly strong enough to beat Stevenage, that we didn’t is not down to the selection and the season is far from over, it’s only the halfway stage, talk about hyperbole.
