While true we have though just spent 25 million and 125k a week on a left back which is a specialist positiom and because if this is no chance he will be backup next season regardless of form

We will need to buy another player, I would have Borna Sosa....

If you brought him and he did better than Digne he would start, it is as simple as that.

If we sell Targett in the summer we will still need another LB anyway. Hickey could be perfect because he can play both sides and probably won’t expect to start every game.

No chance he comes here. Wil have many options.

Richarlison? Seems to have a nasty streak and a will to win?

Not for me. Looks disinterested most of the match and throws strops regularly when things don’t go his way.

he can certainly play but not worth the bother (imo)

It's why he moved to Italy.

Has the ability but lacks goals and assists, will be too expensive for not much better than what we already have.

Everton fans seem to love him and often claim he’s the only one fighting for the badge. Obviously talented as well but still not sure I’d want him at Villa. IMO our players have enough knowledge of the dark arts already.

It's pretty telling that after circa £600m spent in the last 7 years, I would not take a single player from that squad.

I bet Southgate will still pick Pickford as number one when playing in the Championship next season and conceding 4 at home to Reading

Maybe, but if they go down, I think you’d be able to get him for £30m. Agreed that he looks angry and pissed off all the time but that might be because he’s fed up of losing!

Ive always felt he was a decent player and can play in different positions. Might also be interested in joining our South American contingent!

They paid 50 million for him and previously rejected 85 million for him from Barcelona

Even if we don’t want any of their players, we should still be the vultures they were when we got relegated.  Buy Richarlson for 10m and then sell him on for 30m

We have enough inconsistent attacking players valued at around £30m. One of them is also a Brazilian trying to get his previously very promising career - where he has moved for big money - back on track.

No point adding another.

Ings £25m+, Watkins £33m, Bailey £33m, Buendia £38m, Coutinho £33m. Is enough , particularly with our youth prospects.

If you add another to that you either go for promise/potential (Madueke) or a Top Tier striker. And even then you probably sell one.

We already need to get shipped out Wesley £22m, Traore £19m (😩), Trez £12-15m, AEG £8-10m.

Be mental to add Richarlison to this group of players.

He would link up better with Coutinho though.

I actually think Richarlison is a very good player, his attitude is questionable, yes, however, with our South American contingent, they might even help each other.

Richarlison and Ollie baring down on a keeper, or getting a quick pas sin the box, who would you bank on to finish successfully?
