If they can prove that they didn't obtain the knowledge illegally then they'll be fine. Copying another car is not illegal. Horner even said about the guy who switched from RB to AM, "whatever he takes in his head is fair game". Now I can't imagine that he remembered the exact concept that RB were looking to implement, however he might have been able to remember the defining principles of that concept, allowing AM to easily adapt their car accordingly once the RB broke cover. The problem will be if he has taken any intellectual property with him. Anyway at the moment they're a bit like those 4 stripe Adidas runnners that used to be knocking about around 20 years ago - they look roughly the same but all in all they're shit.
