I still can't understand why such a small time club thinks its an outrage that they are in the championship. There are bigger teams down there like Coventry, Wolves, Southampton, Ipswich etc and obviously now Forest and maybe Leeds. They have such a inferiorety complex because of us.

Its almost official that the small time, shite club have officially hit rock bottom. Remember the jaunts we had when they done the double over us and we had toe Ellis Out demo's etc???? RUB IT IN MORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just in case anyone was unsure just how useless he and the rest of the board are Porno Dwarf has decided to quickly sum up some of the terrible decisions they have sanctioned in the last few years.

Out of interest does anyone else think the purchase and sale of Morrison and the release of Andy Johnson could possibly be the worst piece of transfer business in the last 5 years by any club?

Sullivan wise after the fact

Birmingham co-owner David Sullivan has hit back at claims the board of directors have not spent enough money in recent seasons.

Sullivan and chairman David Gold have been rounded on by Blues fans following the club's relegation, with sections of the media also critical of the board.

Sullivan told the Birmingham Post: "Since Steve Bruce was appointed and Alex McLeish took over we have spent £56million net on players (this figure does not include wages, National Insurance contributions, sign-on fees or image rights).

"We have spent five of the last six seasons in the Premier League. I like Steve and I do not want to disrespect him. But there were financial disaster buys.

"Clinton Morrison arrived for £3.75million, with Andy Johnson going in the opposite direction for free. AJ was then sold on by Crystal Palace to Everton for £8million. We got just £1.4million for Clinton when we sold him back to Palace.

"Millions of pounds of financial losses were made on the sales of David Dunn, Rowan Vine, Luciano Figueroa, Jesper Gronkjaer, Walter Pandiani and Robbie Blake."

i swear i read that werewolf once said leeds were not as big as blose. is teh guy having a laugh???
Well speaking as a Leeds resident for the last 36 years, I have hated Leeds United with a passion as long as I can remember. But you know what? Leeds are a thousand times the club that Small Heath are.

I saw a bloke in the 07/08 blose shirt come into the supermarket I work at today. Never get any blose supporters over here in Australia, so I made sure I gave him the 5-1 hand signal. Gave me a very dirty look. :D

Good on ya Brian. Good to hear it.

Blues announce their profits have risen from £3m to £7.8m year on year, impressive I hear some say and the Blues board certainly seem pleased with themselves.

But when you consider they sold their manager who then helped relegate them by keeping Wigan up for £3m that means despite promotion to the Premier League they actually only increased their profit by £1.8m.

What a joke they are.

We may have gone down and cried on TV bu look we know what we are doing

Relegated Birmingham have been boosted by a big leap in turnover for the first half of last season.

The increase followed their promotion to the Barclays Premier League in 2007.

Over the six months up to February 2008, turnover was £32.6million, up from £14.3million for the corresponding period 12 months previously when City were in the Championship.

Operating profit was up from £3million to £7.8million, although those figures are likely to decline again following Blues' relegation back to the second tier this season.

In a statement released to the Stock Exchange this morning, managing director Karren Brady said: "The club's relegation will have a very negative effect on the business but we believe we have the right management team in place to regain membership of the Premier League at the first attempt."

The Johnson/Morrison deal even makes Balaban look like a shrewd buy !
