In fairness Rooney jobs have been tougher than Lampard, Neville and the scumbag

Maybe so, but I think it's telling when a player goes straight into management without doing any coaching or studying under an experienced manager first. It suggests arrogance or a lack of interest in learning about the finer points of coaching and tactics. Some players can hit the ground running as managers (Kompany) but also you end up with 'figureheads' like Lampard and Gerrard with little tactical ability who try to get by on the strength of their personalities.

Who's Stan?

It’s their pet name for their ground, it’s easier to say than “The Trillion Billion Trophy Dangerously Dilapidated Cesspit Stadium”.

It’s a very clever play on words from them, similar their Project Benign.

Don't make fun of the multi multi millionaire who spends a large portion of his time smoking, drinking and shagging prostitutes for looking a bit ropey.  The middle aged white male millionaire is one of the most persecuted people out there. 🙏

37 is middle aged now!? By that logic at 52 I must be past retirement age.

Middle aged is a weird concept isn’t it, because in reality at 40 it is in the region of half way, but people would take offence at being called middle aged at 40.

Really? I've always considered 40 to be the very definition of middle-aged.

It is in it literal sense, but if you referred to a 40 year old as middle aged I think most would be offended.
