VillaChris
Shame West Ham couldn't have got the second there, would've been game over. 1-0 and still Southamlton could win it like they did v Watford late on. Antonio makes a difference for West Ham. Not the best technically but his hard running and bustling style can stretch defences.
villalad21
The West Ham and Arsenal games just hurts more for every game that goes by. You have to take advantage in games against 10 men. That should have been at least 4 pts, instead we only got 1.
VillaChris
Shane Long warming up for his annual goal v us next week. Heads into the side netting from five yards.
VillaChris
Should've been 1-1 there. Ref blew whistle before Ings scored so couldn't be looked back on VAR. We're clinging onto 17th heroically. Pellegrini about to use his Carlos Sanchez wildcard to see out the 1-0...

VillaChris
Full time! Southampton with 6 defeats out of 9 at home. Not the sort of thing that keeps up up. They've also already played Watford and Norwich at home already.
Tomaszk
Southampton are awful.
Farlz
We've just gone through a period of games of playing the top 7 (5 of them being away) and Newcastle yet we're still outside the bottom 3 which I find hard to believe and impressive at the same time. VillaChris
Just looking at what Southampton have after us: Chelsea away (o.k guarenteed three points there with fickle Frank trying to relegate us) Palace home (very good away from home) Spurs home (with Chelsea losing form Mourinho will be fancying top 4 so expect Spurs to win that) Leicester away Wolves home Palace away Liverpool away That's up to 1st Feb. If we win next week we have a good chance to build a decent points buffer between us and Southampton so all hope not lost for me unless we play dismally next weekend.
villalad21
Told you Burnley and Bournemouth will be fine. Dyche and Howe are experienced pl managers. They know what they are doing. There is no way they are going down. It's a race between us and the current bottom 3 Edited December 14, 2019 by villalad21

Or by being given time to turn things around?

If you spend 140 mill in one summer the minimum requirement is survival.

villalad21
Whatever happens we cannot allow Villa Park to turn toxic. If that happens we don't have a chance surviving.

I just threw the number out there, it might be a bit of an exaggeration but i'm just basing this on current evidence. Either the system needs to changed, or we need players who can play said "system"
