I doubt it, I should imagine it ws decided a while ago that Grealish was staying. If we were unable to finance the deals then I can't see why we would enter negotiations. Yep, if he says it's done I'm happy to accept he's now a Villa player. As he says, he's never been wrong when stating someone has completed. So, fellow Villans, we can relax as we now have a new, high quality midfielder and Our Friends From North can relax that he hasn't gone to Celtic. From what we have been told about his attributes, he's going to be the energetic passing and driving link between our solid defence and Grealish and the forwards.
