villanwesty88
Tiago Llori joining Reading for £3.75m according to Paul Joyce from the Times. Seems a hell of a lot of money for a player that has barely played.

The amount of the people who seem to think it's better than the top leagues in Europe's countries is unbelievable. Some people actually think this league is stronger than the French league ffs lol. Could you imagine PSG, Lyon, Nice, Marseille, Monoco, Rennes all in this league? Physically.

It's debatable whether it's "physically" stronger too. Apart from Neil Warnock teams, this league isn't actually all that physical.
BOF Posted January 11, 2017 Moderator Share Posted January 11, 2017 One thing the Championship can be proud of is the fact that currently 8 out of the top 10 goalscorers in the league are English.

Popular Post BOF Posted January 13, 2017 Moderator Popular Post Share Posted January 13, 2017 Did you ever get to wondering just how long each current club has been stuck in the Championship for? No? Well I did, so tough P TEAM Seasons How? 1 Ipswich Town 15 Relegated from PL in 2002 2 Nottingham Forest 9 Promoted from L1 in 2008 2 Derby County 9 Relegated from PL in 2008 4 Leeds United 7 Promoted from L1 in 2010 5 Birmingham City 6 Relegated from PL in 2011 5 Brighton & Hove Albion 6 Promoted from L1 in 2011 7 Blackburn Rovers 5 Relegated from PL in 2012 7 Sheffield Wednesday 5 Promoted from L1 in 2012 7 Huddersfield Town 5 Promoted from L1 in 2012 10 Reading 4 Relegated from PL in 2013 11 Rotherham United 3 Promoted from L1 in 2014 11 Cardiff City 3 Relegated from PL in 2014 11 Wolverhampton Wanderers 3 Promoted from L1 in 2014 11 Brentford 3 Promoted from L1 in 2014 11 Fulham 3 Relegated from PL in 2014 16 Bristol City 2 Promoted from L1 in 2015 16 Queens Park Rangers 2 Relegated from PL in 2015 16 Preston North End 2 Promoted from L1 in 2015 19 Wigan Athletic 1 Promoted from L1 in 2016 19 Burton Albion 1 Promoted from L1 in 2016 19 Aston Villa 1 Relegated from PL in 2016 19 Norwich City 1 Relegated from PL in 2016 19 Barnsley 1 Promoted from L1 in 2016 19 Newcastle United 1 Relegated from PL in 2016 I'm actually quite surprised at the high turnover. Only 10 clubs have spent more than 3 consecutive seasons in the league. In my head the likes of Forest & Wednesday for example were long standing parts of the furniture, but it turns out you can go down quite easily too.
