3-0 Villa

aided by 3 palace sendings off in the first 20 minutes. It's 0-0 then until 80 minutes before an own goal off a backside finally gtets palace to attack and we score a second and third on counters.

the only way we'd win 3-0 is if Palace fail to show up and forfeit the match ;)

Solberg really out to be playing right wing, though. Willoch in midfield is incredibly lightweight, although Borten certainly balances that out well.

No Gerhardsen, though? Arguably the best left winger of his generation.

Interesting team selection. Thank goodness Guzan dropped at last.

Kozak in, happy with that at least try him out. Defence is dodgy as heck - weird that Richards is on the bench with Bacuna ahead of him. Has he refused to play right back or has Bacuna been chosen as the better option?

refused is my guess. but at least he's 'trying' eh?

Well, fair play Garde - picked a starting XI most will be pleased to see.

Interesting Guzan dropped but not his gum-gobbing partner Lescott.

The only shock is seeing Sinclair on the bench - lucky boy, considering his complete ineptitude and laziness on Saturday.

So by the looks of it a 4-4-2 diamond with Gil at the tip of the diamond and one of Gana or Westwood at the base of it.. Very attacking with Veretout and Gil out there not to mention more attacking threat than we've seen in a line up for months. We're not going out there to defend that is for sure..
