I'd definitely be asking the question. He doesn't seem the type to sit his arse on the bench collecting a wage. Klopp clearly doesn't rate him, he doesn't work hard enough. Butterfingers Posted December 24, 2015 Share Posted December 24, 2015 Regardless of whether Benteke starts for Liverpool, he is an integral part of their squad-With Sturridge still hit and miss with injuries, Benteke is required for cover and will no doubt start games between now and May. There is no way whatsoever that Klopp will release him unless he brings in his own striker. Even then, there could well be teams looking to snap him up on a permanent if he were to become available.
