Well as an experiment I’ve just googled ‘outdoor ploughing Massey Ferguson’ and it was page 5 before I accidentally opened anything worth watching.

Spreading seed with a hoe isn’t even safe in this crazy world.

He’s had 12 good years of being utterly anonymous for £80,000 per annum.

Close on a million quid without even looking at the expenses.

But that won’t be the reason nobody wants to give him a golden handshake.

If you're from Tiverton, tractors ARE  porn.

My wife went to Tiverton Grammar School.

I'm actually Tiverton born and bred!! I don't mind a tractor or two.

I am a proud liberal woke lefty I dont see why he should have to resign.

I want to see him lose at the ballot box but that should be about his parties awful ideas not because he watched some boobies/dicks/whatever on his phone.

Looks like sex shaming to me which is nonsense whatever your orientation or gender or politics. If we on the left are not there for your right to have your own sex life then who the hell is?

I stand with Parish! (but I dont  want to shake his right hand....) :)

We have no context of what he was watching. He is an adult and so was everyone else in the room. Its his private phone. I am more concerned about his co workers leaning over his shoulder to spy on him. Apparently they were not particularly busy either.

What he did is considered gross misconduct in any other job. Instant dismissal. Everyone understands this

We have no idea what he was watching. The burden of proving gross misconduct is on those reporting him not the other way around.

Nobody is accusing him of inappropriate behavior towards colleagues. They are accusing him of watching something in his private phone so awful he should lose his job. To me that should be a very high bar.

Should MP's lose their jobs if they are reading (far more offensive) pro Putin propaganda websites on their phones and someone looks over their shoulder?

I think it's fair to say that there are differing perspectives on what constitutes unacceptable material, but the fact he's made several spurious defences and not attempted "it wasn't porn", and has resigned prior to the investigation probably speaks volumes

True, he has a "its a fair cop" attitude towards it. I just feel for us on the left we should always be the champion of peoples sexuality and free speech. It should be a very high bar for people to lose their jobs over such matters.
